If you like to use your hands (and your brain) to make stuff come down tomorrow night. The first NYC Make group was set up 5 months ago in downtown Brooklyn and is a great success. See their website here. However, if you don't live close by, it can be a little difficult to get there. Soooo..... for the rest of us (here in Queens, but also Bronx, Brooklyn, Nassau, etc), we are starting a second group that's easy to get to and has easy parking. So whether you like making models, electronics, silkscreening, pottery or pretty much anything else that gets put together using skill and imagination, we want to meet you. Pictures from our first Make-N-Take last Saturday	Saturdays at 10 am Make-n-Take kits let you have fun building a 1/24 scale model car or plane. No glue is required and we will provide you with all the tools you need. Cost is only $3 per model. Parents are encouraged to be present during the half-hour or so required to complete the model.
Make 'n Take can also be used by Boy Scout troops, schools, for birthday parties or other group activities. By using a simple SnapTite kit that is easy to assemble, kids get interested in the hobby without being overwhelmed with a more complicated model that requires paint and glue. Parents tell us they love the interactivity and fun modeling provide while getting their children away from video games. Make 'n Take helps children and adults of all ages rediscover the fun of building a precision-engineered model. The Slot Cars Are Here! The Slot Cars Are Here! 1/32 Scale Digital Slot Car Racing With Lane Changing, Digital Lap Counter, Digital Fuel Gauge, More - Starting this Friday, March 21. This week at 7:30 pm. Normal Start is 7:00. 2 hours of racing $4.50 using your car, $9 using our car.
Saturday Night Micro-R/C Racing Season is Over :-( The new season will start on November 2 at the end of Daylight Savings Time and the arrival of long dark, cold, nights (where you need something fun to do indoors) In the meantime, if you are interested in having us host a Mini-Z Birthday Party at the store, please contact us for details.

NOTE for Pinewood Derby Racers: our Scroll Saw is here to help you cut your car bodies. It takes only a few seconds, it's very easy, and it's FREE!! Note: only Doug and Gabe are allowed to use the saw. Doug is at the store Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, and Sat. Gabe is at the store on Sundays. No Pinewood car bodies will be cut on Fridays!!
